All house plans, drawings, designs, renderings, images, graphics, written content, and other original materials provided by Mora House Plans are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

Purchasing a house plan from Mora House Plans gives you the right to use the purchased plan for the permitted project. It does not transfer ownership or copyright of the underlying design or drawings.

1. Ownership of Our Designs

Unless otherwise stated in a written agreement, Mora House Plans retains all rights, title, and interest in its original:

  • House plan designs

  • Floor plans

  • Elevations

  • Sections

  • Construction drawings

  • PDF and CAD/DWG files

  • Architectural details

  • 3D models and renderings

  • Website images and graphics

  • Product descriptions and written content

  • Logos and brand materials

The purchase of a plan does not constitute a transfer of copyright or intellectual property ownership.

2. Permitted Use

A purchased house plan is licensed for use for one residential construction project, unless a different license is expressly stated in the product listing or agreed upon in writing.

You may:

  • Download and retain the purchased files for your project

  • Print copies of the plan for use on the permitted project

  • Provide copies to your builder, contractor, architect, engineer, or other professionals involved in the project

  • Make reasonable site-specific modifications through qualified professionals where necessary

These permissions are limited to the project for which the plan was purchased.

3. Prohibited Use

Without written permission from Mora House Plans, you may not:

  • Resell or redistribute our house plans

  • Share the digital files with people who are not involved in your permitted project

  • Upload our plans to websites, marketplaces, file-sharing services, or social media for distribution

  • Give or transfer a purchased plan to another person for use on a separate project

  • Use one purchased plan to construct multiple separate homes

  • Copy, reproduce, or substantially recreate our designs for resale

  • Remove copyright or ownership notices from our files

  • Claim our designs or drawings as your own

  • Use our plans or drawings as a template for creating products for commercial sale

A separate license may be required for additional builds or other uses.

4. Construction and Professional Use

A purchased plan may be shared with professionals directly involved in the permitted construction project, including builders, contractors, architects, engineers, and permitting professionals.

This permission does not give those professionals the right to reuse, resell, publish, or distribute the plans for other projects.

Any site-specific modifications, engineering work, or professional services remain subject to the requirements of the applicable jurisdiction and the professionals involved.

5. Website and Marketing Content

All original images, renderings, graphics, text, branding, and other content published on the Mora House Plans website are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, copy, modify, download for redistribution, or commercially use this content without prior written permission.

Product images and renderings may not be used to advertise, promote, or sell competing house plans or services.

6. Custom Designs

For custom house-plan projects, ownership and usage rights may vary depending on the written agreement between Mora House Plans and the client.

Unless a written agreement states otherwise, Mora House Plans retains copyright and intellectual property rights in the underlying design work.

Any specific licensing or ownership terms agreed upon for a custom project will take precedence over the general provisions of this policy.

7. Copyright Infringement

Mora House Plans takes copyright protection seriously.

If you believe that content appearing on our website or elsewhere infringes your copyright, please contact us with sufficient information to identify:

  • The copyrighted work you believe has been infringed

  • The material you believe is infringing

  • Where the material can be found

  • Your contact information

  • Any additional information that may help us evaluate the matter
